Second trail to Mount Kinabalu

By August, the second new trail to Mount Kinabalu will be open for climbers. As for now, the rangers are still checking the new trail so that it is absolutely safe before they open it to the public. The Kinabalu Park Manager, Mr. Yassin Miki said that this new trail called ‘Kota Belud’ trail is a bit shorter than the first trail, called ‘Ranau trail‘. Instead of that, they are also creating the suitable rules for those climbers who will be using this new trail. Yassin also stated that if there is nothing wrong with the new trail, it may be open as early as middle of July.
