An island hideaway located on Sepanggar Island, the Mari Mari Sepanggar Lodge is hardly a 10 minutes’ drive from the Kota Kinabalu city. It is a blissful beach resort set by the bills of primary rain forest, faced by white sandy beaches and a breathtaking view of the Kota Kinabalu city. The blue sea a few steps away entices the guests to take a dip, go diving, indulge. It is surrounded by mesmerizing vistas, and scents, and lush green rain forests, the sound of lapping waves of the beach. It’s a place where nature will pamper the guests. Snuggled amidst the trees, overlooking the Gaya Bay, the Mari Mari Sepanggar Lodge is 14 km away from the Kota Kinabalu International airport.

The Mari Mari Sepanggar Lodge has about 12 rooms in total, which provide the guests with a balcony and a seating area, from where they can enjoy wonderful sea and mountain views. The well furnished and tastefully delineated rooms are varied in options. There is a simple Twin Room which offers lovely views of nature, has two single beds and can be booked for around 70-85USD per night. Queen Room with views of nature can be booked for approximately 90 USD per night. The Beach Chalets and Hill Chalets are more expensive ones and can be booked at around 125 USD per night.

The Mari Mari Sepanggar Lodge offers a wide range of facilities to its guests, which include in room services such as a complimentary water bottle, a ceiling fan, a shower with running hot water, tour desk services, private lockers, shared garden and terrace for relaxation purposes, all basic toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, soap, bath towel and slippers, a work desk, tea and coffee making facilities. As all the facilities here are dependent on solar power, the electricity usage is kept to a minimum amount.
